Job Description
Position: Executive Level Cybersecurity Leader
Location: Phoenix AZ Hours: Fulltime Hybrid position with occasional travel
About the Role:
We are seeking someone to work at the executive level to build and lead our cybersecurity practice from the ground up. This is a businesscritical leadership role where you will be responsible for developing service offerings securing new business and positioning the company as a trusted partner in cybersecurity consulting. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial leader with a strong background in cybersecurity risk management and business development who thrives in a fastpaced highgrowth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Development:
- Build and lead the cybersecurity practice defining its vision strategy and execution roadmap.
- Develop and implement service offerings ensuring alignment with industry trends and client needs.
- Drive revenue growth by actively identifying business opportunities responding to RFPs and developing client relationships.
- Position the company as a leader in cybersecurity through industry engagement thought leadership and public speaking engagements.
Client Engagement & Risk Assessment:
- Lead highlevel risk assessments and design cybersecurity frameworks for enterprise and midmarket clients.
- Act as the primary executive advisor to clients helping them navigate cybersecurity challenges and regulatory compliance.
- Provide Csuitelevel insights and translate technical risks into business impacts for decisionmakers.
- Develop customized cybersecurity roadmaps and solutions tailored to client needs.
Operational Execution & Team Development:
- Establish bestinclass security consulting methodologies and frameworks.
- Lead and mentor a growing team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Define KPIs and success metrics to measure and optimize cybersecurity initiatives.
- Oversee the implementation of security compliance frameworks (NIST ISO 27001 HIPAA SOC 2 PCI etc.).
- Ensure projects are executed on time within scope and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in cybersecurity IT business or related field (Masters preferred).
- 10 years of cybersecurity experience including leadership and clientfacing roles.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks compliance standards and risk management.
- Strong business acumen with experience in business development sales and client management.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP CISM CISA CRISC or equivalent) preferred.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling a cybersecurity practice.
