SalesForce CPQ/Vlocity Resource
Location Dallas and currently remote working option available however resource may require to move to Dallas after 3months time.
A SalesForce CPQ/Vlocity Resource typically entails designing developing and implementing customized Configure Price Quote (CPQ) solutions within the Salesforce platform specifically utilizing the Vlocity industryspecific features to streamline complex sales processes for clients in sectors like telecommunications media and utilities requiring expertise in both Salesforce CPQ functionalities and Vlocity development tools to build tailored quoting systems and manage product configurations effectively.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for CPQ solutions within Vlocity.
- Architecting complex product catalogs pricing models rules and workflows within Vlocity to accurately calculate pricing and generate quotes based on specific customer configurations.
- Implementing custom Vlocity components like data models business processes and user interfaces to manage product configurations pricing calculations and quote generation.
- Integrating Vlocity CPQ with other Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud Service Cloud) and external systems using APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
- Thoroughly testing CPQ functionality to guarantee accuracy in pricing and quoting including unit testing and user acceptance testing.
- Deploying the developed Vlocity CPQ solution and providing ongoing support to users troubleshooting issues and addressing configuration changes.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of CPQ features including product configuration pricing rules quoting process and workflow management.
- Extensive knowledge of Vlocity platform data models development tools and industryspecific capabilities
- Ability to write custom Apex code to extend Vlocity functionality and integrate with other Salesforce components.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce core concepts like objects fields relationships triggers and APIs.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and consider industryspecific considerations.
