Job Title: Behavioral Health Therapist
Location: Alamosa CO
Salary Range: $28.92 $40.38 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team in providing therapy services in a clinical setting. You will collaborate with the medical team to support patient outcomes through screening brief interventions and counseling. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about behavioral health and comfortable in a fastpaced environment implementing innovative interventions.
Requirements:
- Masters degree and state licensure in social work counseling or psychology preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of postlicensure experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience in a medical setting preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including evaluations and therapy services.
- Deliver acute and chronic care based on behavioral health principles.
- Collaborate with colleagues patients and medical staff to ensure effective communication.
- Educate patients families and staff on behavioral health topics.
- Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and research.
