Job Description
CHI St. Anthony Hospital Pendleton is looking for Pediatric Locum coverage March 13th 7:00am to March 17th 7:00am and April 10th at7:00am through April 14th 7:00am. Potential need for 12 weeks/month.
RATE CAPS FOR SUBMISSION:
Malpractice Must be included in rates.
Orientation xx150 and below kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
Holiday Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. Per holiday hour no OT
On Call (Daily) xx2600 and below Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
24 Hour Holiday Call Rate xx3900 Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
Call Back xx300 and below Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Holiday Call Back xx450 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Average Callback Hours: 1 hour
Dates of coverage:
March 13th 7:00am to March 17th 7:00am. Potential need for 12 weeks/month.
April 10th at7:00am through April 14th 7:00am
Schedule: 24hr call coverage with roughly 14 hrs onsite.
Details:
For presentation please comment on providers experience for: Provider MUST be comfortable with Neonatal resuscitation intubation lines emergency meds to be able to stabilize and transfer if needed.
24/7 on call covers for any newborn care from OB admission consult from ED or called for med surge for neonate and peds patients.
Expected to round daily 14 hours (varies) and provider is the primary care for the newborn/peds patient.
Admissions per day: Roughly 1 per month through ED
Patients per day: Varies depending on the day 06
1 local provider gets first pick of week then 3 weeks to fill remaining. No office call.
No Nicu if sick baby stabilizes and transfer
Important to know there is no back up coverage. Must be comfortable being solo provider
Successful applicant must be able to demonstrate that they have provided inpatient care to at least 24 patients as the attending physician during last 24 months
Core privileges for Peds: Include the ability to treat patients between 0 18 years the performance including related admissions consultation and workup venipuncture laceration repair incision and drainage of superficial abscesses and the treatment of major or complicated illnesses.
Care privileges for Newborn: Include the ability to provide care to all newborns including those with potentially lifethreatening illnesses. Consultation suggested in extremely complex lifethreatening situations.
In Additional Submission Details: Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity Facility
Requirement description :
- Board Certified Pediatrics or IM/FM (If IM/FM MUST have significant Peds and Neonatal experience) Required
- OR License Required
- 3year Pediatric Residency program Required
- BLS ACLS PALS and NRP Required
- Availability at time of name clear Must provide specific dates if provider is available 12 weeks/month and cannot provide dates beyond a specific point due to schedules not being out those details must be included. Required
- Clean Malpractice/background Clean for quick credentialing March dates. ALL malpractice must be disclosed including if the provider has any criminal history (This helps determine accurate start dates). Required
- Local no flights Highly Preferred
