Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to validate the functionality and accuracy of Power BI dashboards and reports using data
- from Databricks.
- Collaborate closely with business users data engineers analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and design appropriate testing
- strategies.
- Execute test cases systematically to identify defects inconsistencies or inaccuracies within the Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between Databricks and Power BI to ensure data integrity and consistency across the ecosystem.
- Take ownership of the endtoend testing process and maintain detailed documentation of test results issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data related issues ensuring timely delivery of highquality data products.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies tools and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data quality assurance efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience (8 years) in quality assurance/testing roles with a focus on data validation preferably involving Power BI and Databricks.
- Proficiency in creating test scenarios test cases and executing test scripts for datadriven applications.
- Strong understanding of SQL queries data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Databricks or similar data visualization and processing tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Detailoriented mindset with a passion for ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Analytical thinking and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve data related issues efficiently.
- Experience in Agile or similar software development methodologies is a plus.
