Job Description

Title: Plastics Molding Technician

Location: Chippewa Falls WI

Job Type: Fulltime (Onsite)

Night shift

We are looking to add a team member to our Blow Molding production team to carry out our company mission of maintaining an inclusive culture of trust honesty humility integrity and candor in our dealings with others ourselves and our communities.

Were looking for a passionate individual to fill our Blow Molding Process Technician role and to join location in Chippewa Falls WI where we work together to continuously improve the bottled water industry.

What Youll Be Working On:

This position operates and performs routine maintenance to blow mold equipment. The incumbent is responsible for supplying bottles as raw material to multiple client plants at a minimal cost to the company. The position is required to work 12hour shifts.

Operates blow molding machinery and ensure through constant observation and routine inspections that high quality products are being produced.

Performs basic cleaning and preventative maintenance of equipment.

Detect jams or malfunctions and make adjustments as necessary.

Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Set up and operate blow molding machines to mold PET bottles.

Install dies onto machines or presses then coat dies with parting agents according to work order specifications.

Use a forklift to store palletized bottles in the warehouse for transport and load/unload trailers.

Listen to machines during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to compensate for problems.

About You Preferred Requirements for This Role

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of two years workrelated experience or training preferred.

Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.

Basic reading writing and math skills.

Computer experience is required

Forklift experience (certification required within 90 days of hire date)
