The Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role as he will be the point of contact with our customers, to ensure that all needed details to process the maintenance request are available and it meets our policy. Although some time will be spent physically helping with fulfilling those orders, time will also be spent within the system tracking and maintaining records and reports. To be successful, the associate must maintain strong customer, colleague, and vendor relationships, and have a strong knowledge of safety protocols and proper maintenance procedures. Self-motivated without supervision, with great attention to detail, and willing to go above and beyond what is asked.
Responsibilities:
Receives orders from customers
Performs work according to standard procedure
Contact customers to confirm pull date and address
have a simple and quick way to schedule, assign, and track maintenance work
Monitor performance standards and targets to provide a consistently high level of service to the business and our customers
Arrange pulling/delivering items with Delivery Team
Scheduling and Managing Maintenance Activities
Develop maintenance schedules: Create and maintain schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are regularly serviced and repaired.
Coordinate maintenance tasks: Assign maintenance tasks to technicians and contractors based on their expertise and availability, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.
Plan for downtime: Plan for any required downtime during maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to operations or services.
Monitor task progress: Track the progress of maintenance work and ensure that it is completed within the expected time frame.
Preventive Maintenance Management
Implement preventive maintenance programs: Ensure that a preventive maintenance program is in place to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure, extend the life of machinery, and maintain overall operational efficiency.
Monitor and update equipment status: Track the condition of equipment and machinery, scheduling necessary inspections, lubrication, calibration, and other preventive measures.
Keep records: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspection logs, repair histories, and replacement schedules.
