Job Description

We are hiring an Anaesthetic (ICU) Registrar for a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- To provide an Intensive Care service while acting as an assistant to the Daily Duty Intensivist/Anaesthetist and to work under their supervision.
- Transfer patients from the previous shifts registrar to guarantee continuity of care make decisions right away and write orders.
- Must regularly assess Critical Care Unit patients in compliance with the care plan established at the start of each shift and report any concerns or issues to the consultant.
- Review results should be promptly and clearly documented in clinical notes.
- To respond to crises as they arise or to release the consultant to respond to crises.
- To react to any unfavorable incidents that affect patients guests or employees such as accidents falls unexpected diseases etc.
Requirements
- Requires MRCP MRCS or equivalent.
- Present Complete Registration with the Irish Medical Council.
- Ideally one should be a member of the College of Anaesthetists.
- Two years or more of experience working as an anesthesiologist in an acute hospital.
- Requires current ACLS certification.
- Knowledge and Skills Particular to the Job.
