Our client is a topnotch technology company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Manage Data Products: Oversee the complete lifecycle of domainspecific data products ensuring they align with business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business engineering and data teams to define features and gather requirements.
SLO Management: Establish and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to ensure data quality accuracy and reliability.
SelfService Enablement: Ensure data products are easily discoverable and usable by data consumers throughout the organization.
Strategic Roadmap: Develop and maintain a roadmap that balances immediate business priorities with longterm objectives.
Automation & Efficiency: Work with engineering teams to ensure the development of automated data pipelines and governance frameworks.
Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with data governance privacy and regulatory standards.
Monitor & Optimize Performance: Use metrics and feedback to continuously improve data products.
Data Advocacy: Advocate for the adoption and utilization of data products across the organization.
Requirements
At least 5 years in data product management or a related field with expertise in finance or marketing.
Strong experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies including backlog management and sprint planning.
Familiarity with data architecture pipelines and cloudbased environments such as AWS or Azure.
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to effectively communicate data concepts to both technical and nontechnical teams.
Understanding of data governance frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g. GDPR).
Proficiency in leveraging data analytics to drive decisionmaking.
Ability to operate at both strategic and handson levels in product management.
