Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Database Expert with 7 years of handson experience in database development administration optimization and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL database design performance tuning and ensuring data security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Design & Development:
- Design develop and optimize relational database structures.
- Write complex SQL queries stored procedures triggers and functions.
- Ensure data integrity and normalization.
- Database Administration & Performance Tuning:
o Monitor database performance and optimize queries.
o Conduct indexing and query optimization to improve efficiency.
o Troubleshoot slow queries and database bottlenecks.
- Backup & Recovery:
o Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
o Ensure data replication and high availability.
- Collaboration & Support:
o Work closely with developers to optimize database interactions.
o Provide support for databaserelated issues and incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
o Strong proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server or other RDBMS).
o Experience with database indexing partitioning and query optimization.
o Knowledge of database security best practices.
o Familiarity with ETL processes data warehousing and reporting tools.
o Experience with Azure cloudbased databases
o Scripting knowledge (Python Shell PowerShell) is an advantage.
