Job Title: HiCAMS Application Developer (REMOTE)
Location: Raleigh NC
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
The Client is seeking a Technical Specialist contractor analyst/designer/developer (>10 years experience) for a 12month engagement for the Engineering Application Services Department (EAS) to enhance and maintain a missioncritical application for the department called HiCAMS.
- HiCAMS is a custom clientserver PowerBuilder application used to track work materials and payments on North Carolina Division of Highways Construction projects. We also have many Java C and asp.net/C# interfaces with various internal and external systems that need to be maintained and enhanced. Additionally there is a list of new interfaces and web applications tied to HiCAMS that our clients want to have developed in the future.
- The initial assignments will be to work on a team to analyze/design/code/test/implement/support data windows to replace approximately 200 sample test result spreadsheet formats that were coded using an outdated 3rd party software tool. Additional work will involve analyzing/designing/coding/testing bug fixes and other functional enhancements to the system and its interfaces.
- This individual should have practical experience with all phases of the standard software development life cycle including requirements gathering analysis design development unit & system testing quality assurance testing as well as experience with business process transformation. Experience designing and interfacing with SharePoint and webbased solutions are also valuable skills were seeking.
