Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in CNC machines.
- Disassemble repair and reassemble equipment following safety regulations.
- Use PLC logic Mcode/Gcode and machine programming to troubleshoot and adjust equipment.
- Check and adjust machine cycles to ensure proper functionality and resolve malfunctions.
- Perform electrical tests and troubleshoot defective printed circuit assembly boards.
- Follow complex schematics manuals and testing procedures to repair equipment.
- Report unusual cases to supervision and comply with safety and operational protocols.
Skills/Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Journeyman certification or 3 years of documented CNC repair and maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in ladder logic circuit diagrams industrial motor control schematics and blueprint reading.
Preferred:
- 4 years of CNC repair and maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
- Twoyear degree in electronics with mechanical experience or military electronics experience.
- Background in machining electrical equipment and hydraulics.
