Job Description

Summary:
The ideal candidate is a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician with at least 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machines. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues interpreting schematics and ensuring proper equipment operation. Candidates with a background in machining electronics and hydraulics are highly preferred.

Position Info:

  • Title: CNC Maintenance Repair Technician

  • Duration: Fulltime
  • Location: 1201 Wolf St Syracuse NY 13208
  • Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in CNC machines.
  • Disassemble repair and reassemble equipment following safety regulations.
  • Use PLC logic Mcode/Gcode and machine programming to troubleshoot and adjust equipment.
  • Check and adjust machine cycles to ensure proper functionality and resolve malfunctions.
  • Perform electrical tests and troubleshoot defective printed circuit assembly boards.
  • Follow complex schematics manuals and testing procedures to repair equipment.
  • Report unusual cases to supervision and comply with safety and operational protocols.

Skills/Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Journeyman certification or 3 years of documented CNC repair and maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency in ladder logic circuit diagrams industrial motor control schematics and blueprint reading.

Preferred:

  • 4 years of CNC repair and maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
  • Twoyear degree in electronics with mechanical experience or military electronics experience.
  • Background in machining electrical equipment and hydraulics.
