Position: Technical Specialist Junior
Location: Online (Locals preferred)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Developer to assist with a critical migration project transitioning from RichFaces 3.3 to modern UI technologies. This role will focus on enhancing user experience improving application performance and ensuring longterm sustainability and security for our enterprise application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate applications from RichFaces 3.3 to Java and jQuery.
- Implement modern UI technologies and responsive design principles.
- Ensure compatibility with current and future Java frameworks.
- Address security vulnerabilities and comply with organizational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills:
- 5 years of experience migrating from a RichFaces 3.3 environment.
- Proficiency in Java jQuery HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and usability testing.
- Experience in responsive design methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
