Interior designers make interior spaces functional, and attractive by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials. They meet with the homeowner to discuss important details such as the budget and goal for the space.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge all about the brands in the company
Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project
Research concept and prepare presentation with more option for the client
Draw the layout plan ( AutoCAD).
Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs, Select furniture, accessories and lighting while keeping within budget.
Meet with the client and present the design concepts.
Contact customer after delivery to confirm the order and customer satisfaction.
Check the performance for the set (if we need to change the place ).
Check the zone (price tag).
Post finishing subjects every month in social media.
Client Consultation
Meet with clients: Understand client needs, preferences, and objectives for the space, including budget and timeline.
Assess the space: Conduct site visits to evaluate the space, considering factors such as dimensions, layout, natural light, and functionality.
Present ideas: Share design concepts, mood boards, and sketches to communicate potential design directions and gain client approval.
Space Planning
Create layout plans: Develop floor plans that maximize space and functionality while ensuring a smooth flow between areas.
Furniture arrangement: Select and arrange furniture to enhance comfort and usability, ensuring proper spacing and accessibility.
Consider traffic flow: Plan for easy navigation and accessibility by considering the movement of people through the space.
Design Concept Development
Design themes and styles: Create design concepts based on client preferences, whether it’s modern, contemporary, traditional, minimalist, etc.
Material selection: Choose suitable materials, such as flooring, wall finishes, fabrics, and furniture, to achieve the desired aesthetic and meet durability requirements.
Color schemes: Develop color palettes that complement the overall design and set the desired mood for the space.
. Sourcing and Procurement
Select furniture and fixtures: Source appropriate furniture, lighting, accessories, and materials that fit the design concept, budget, and functional needs of the space.
Coordinate with suppliers: Establish relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to acquire the necessary products.
Budget management: Ensure that the design is completed within the client’s budget while balancing quality and aesthetics.
3D Modeling and Visualization
Create 3D renderings: Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max) to create detailed 3D models and visualizations of the proposed design.
Virtual tours and mock-ups: Provide clients with virtual tours or mock-ups of the design to give them a realistic preview of the space before implementation.
Project Management
Coordinate with contractors: Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, plumbers, and other contractors to ensure the design is executed according to the plans.
Monitor progress: Oversee the construction and installation phases, ensuring that work is completed on time and meets design specifications.
Ensure quality control: Ensure that the work is carried out to a high standard and that materials are installed correctly.
