Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Compliance Assessor to join our SSHEQ team in the Scotland.

We are looking for someone with the ability to adapt and assist and keep a keen eye on the small details when conducting a Compliance role on our growing workstreams based in the Midlands area.
What will you be doing
As a Compliance Assessor your core responsibilities will be:
- Supporting training where appropriate to ensure full site compliance
- To conduct internal audits in line with the company audit programme and operational performance
- To Review Audits completed by operational team and provide feedback and assistance in helping to increase overall compliance and reduce liability
- To conduct Core selections based on company coring programme
- To review data based on company clegg programme
- To analyse report and trend data based on the company clegg and core programmes
- To conduct sitebased investigations e.g. Utility strikes and incidents.
- To conduct Subcontractor Inductions on and off site.
- To ensure all compliance with subcontractors on site e.g. induction qualifications etc
- Be proactive and innovative constantly looking at new and improved ways of working
- Collaborate with internal support functions
- To assist operational teams with client and Local Authority requirements.
- To provide technical support to operational teams as required e.g. JSI meetings Defects.
Requirements
Technical knowledge Skills & Qualifications required:
- Detailed knowledge of the Specification for the reinstatement of Openings in Highways
- Detailed knowledge of the Safety at Street Works and Road Works (red book)
- Telecommunications civils works experience of a supervisory standard
- Experience of risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities
- Outstanding communication skills
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to work
- Good organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible approach to work location
- Computer literate
- Hold a full UK driver s licence
- Hold the following qualifications: NRSWA SSSTS CPCS or equivalent
