Job purpose:
To build market position by locating developing defining negotiating and closing business relationships.
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy. The Sales Manager will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. They call on clients often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients future needs.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the Company s vision and strategy
- Support the overall process of management and corporate decisionmaking to ensure the organization maximizes its short medium and longterm profitability and shareholder returns
- Liaise with other executive heads on the implementation of the company s strategic and operational plans
- Develop review and report on the business development division s strategy ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Identify potential clients and the decision makers within a client organization research and build relationships with them.
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company s practice leaders/Principals.
- Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client s needs concerns and objectives.
- Participate in pricing the solution/service.
- Handle objections by clarifying emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
- Attend industry functions such as association events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services products and distribution channels.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors identify and develop the company s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Requirements
Qualifications
- Holder of a Bachelor s degree.
- with over 4 years preferably in an ICT related field working experience
- Knowledge is sales.
- Having worked directly with customers is an added advantage

- Strong and well developed analytical and report writing skills.
- Quick learner with demonstrated product knowledge and professionalism.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines heavy workloads and remain calm under pressure with a high degree of individual responsibility all of which are implicit with the position.
