This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the General Counsel driving innovation and efficiency across legal projects and initiatives! In this role youll take the lead in optimizing legal operations ensuring automation and scalability in daytoday workflows. Youll have the chance to shape the strategic vision and oversee its operational execution capturing synergies across all legal functions. Collaborating with key stakeholders across departments youll play a pivotal role in transforming the way the legal team operates creating lasting impact and driving success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support for Legal Projects and Initiatives: Provide paralegal support to legal operations projects and initiatives including responsibility for: tracking and supporting disputes and litigation including customer collection actions; documenting and actioning corporate compliance and governance resolutions and related filings; tracking and enabling on updates to applicable laws; draft revise and update commercial contracting templates (e.g. MSA NDAs) and policies (e.g. privacy policy Terms of Use);
Support for Contracting: Provide support to contract managers as the first point of escalation for revenue and vendor contracting issues.
Contract queue management and redlines review of proposed agreements of low to moderate complexity including triage drafting and negotiating nonstandard commercial and legal terms.
Workflow Management: Manage the daytoday legal workflow and operations including supporting resource allocation and fostering collaboration within the legal team to drive automation and efficiency of and between legal department team members.
Enablement: create and implement legal and contracting enablement content materials and processes for distribution to 3 verticals: legal to legal (e.g. playbooks) legal to HireVue team members (e.g. guru cards) and legal to customer (e.g. legal center updates) to optimize automation and scale in legal team operations and workflow; train and enable HireVue team members on such material content and processes.
Standardize processes and policies: Identify develop and enforce consistent processes and policies for enhancing and maximizing legal team automation and scale.
Operational Excellence: Work collaboratively with Legal and other internal stakeholder teams to identify and implement operational initiatives to ensure efficiency and effectiveness and ensuring alignment to capture value for the organization.
Enablement: Working with the Enablement team develop and provide training support for legal and other HireVue team members to drive efficiencies in the legal workflow and operations
Technology: Identify and implement or optimize tools to streamline new or existing practices for the legal department as well as managing the design rollout coordination and management of new or existing systems.
Data & Analytics: Maintain dataoriented tracking reporting and analysis on key operational and substantive metrics to better inform operational priorities.
Knowledge Management: Develop standardized positions and maintain a library of standard deal or legal positions acceptable alternate positions with required approvals designated to establish accurate company risk profile and knowledge of contractual and commercial concessions.
Communication: Coordinate and facilitate communication between the key stakeholders in each department particularly Revenue Legal and Finance departments to ensure smooth compliance with stated business priorities and processes.
Project Management: Stay uptodate on operational best practices to ensure best in class contracting and deal desk function that scales and supports the company. Work with leadership to identify develop and prioritize appropriate projects that align with priorities.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
Extensive familiarity with legal concepts tasks and responsibilities; Paralegal certification is a plus.
Experience with cloud services and/or SaaS is a plus.
Minimum 5 years experience in legal optimization strategy and implementation including (a) identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies in workflows; (b) using technology and data to improve performance (c) developing and implementing policies and practices and (d) strategic planning and execution expertise; (e) endtoend including project and matter management data gathering problemsolving and communicating recommendations.
Minimum of 5 years experience in legal support including in the areas of: (a) corporate governance; (b) litigation and collection matters; (c) regulatory compliance; and (d) legal documentation.

This position is a workfromhome role. The individual in this role must be able to work from home in an environment free from distractions where they can attend virtual video meetings. Although primarily remote the individual in this role must be willing and able to travel occasionally as needed.
