We are looking for a Business Project Manager with 6 years of experience in the field of Project Management to oversee our clients projects (US) for nearshore locations. The role has a business focus and it is not a technical role.
Product Development Support customer outreach and enhance customer experience as features and hardware are retired in 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host meetings taking meeting notes managing deliverables and financials
- Facilitate meetings to execute strategic deliverables to drive key decisions. Common deliverables include Executive presentations strategic governance meeting agendas meeting minutes key performance dashboards project schedules communication plans risk management plans status updates project budget reporting and tracking.
- Use network terminology as well as business acumen in addition to industry recognized/generally accepted PM knowledge to achieve a projects stated objectives.
- Typically this individual does not independently deliver content or decisions which define final project deliverables.
- Manage multiple complex and strategic projects under minimal supervision.
- May also lead large multiyear programs such as device launches which can include multiple projects across a variety of functional areas.
- Manage roadmaps and program deliverables under minimal supervision.
- Serve as the liaison between Technology Engineering and Product and Operations teams.
- Facilitate discussions to drive directional alignment of program roadmap.
- Manage budget including tracking of status variance explanations and resolving cost issues against the approved Earmark.
- May provide guidance and direction to more junior project management staff including resource onboarding and execution support.
- Develop detailed project schedules project estimates resource plans and status reports; tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers.
- Propose Plans organize secure and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of Residential and client goals and objectives. Projects are time sensitive with ambiguous content.
- Partner with Product Technology Engineering and Operations project stakeholders to deliver across crossfunctional teams.
- Coordinate the resources necessary to successfully complete the project.
- Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget adhere to highquality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Communicate major milestones and reports on project progress throughout the project lifecycle or specific phases within the Solutions Delivery Life cycle (SDLC).
- Identify potential program/project dependencies and risks; conducts regular status meetings to review activities; manage prioritization across multiple projects.
- Set and manage client expectations managing and escalating issues and changes.
- Measure progress toward goals and revise project objectives; document and apply change control procedures. Evaluate the impacts and risks of changes from multiple perspectives assign tasks that are necessary to reduce or eliminate those considerations.
- Create and deliver Executive level presentations as needed.
- Manage the creation and tracking of processes procedures and documentation that improve program governance.
- Serve as champion of our clients EPMO Governance Methodology.
- Partner with other PMs in the portfolio to share best practices and key project information.
- Lead project teams across two of our clients product portfolio.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree.
- 6 years of experience in a related field (i.e. Change management process improvement project management) or academic equivalent training or projects.
- Demonstrated analytic strategic and tactical planning skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fastpaced crossfunctional and resultsoriented work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with all levels and functions within the organization.
- Experience with Technology and Engineering development activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Executive Presentation.
- Meeting Facilitation.
- Excellent organization skills: relationship building financial management basic PM skill set.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of a Telecommunications network desired.
- PMP certification desired.
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence desired.
