What youd be doing in this role

As Canva scales change it continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you a flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but it will likely evolve.

At the moment this role is focused on:

• Leading a Global Engineering TA Team: Inspire mentor and coach a highperforming team to deliver impactful results while championing their growth and development.
• Recruiting the Best: Drive global recruitment efforts to secure top engineering talent with agility and precision especially for niche and indemand roles.
• Building Diverse Teams: Advocate for and embed inclusive hiring practices to ensure Canva reflects the diversity of its global community.
• Partnering with Stakeholders: Collaborate with engineering leadership to develop talent strategies that align with product goals and longterm vision.
• DataDriven Excellence: Leverage data insights to optimise hiring strategies inform decisions and improve effectiveness.
• Champion Experience: Elevate stakeholder and candidate experiences ensuring every touchpoint with Canva leaves a lasting positive impression.

At Canva we value fairness and we strive to provide competitive marketinformed compensation whilst ensuring internal equity within the team in each region. We make hiring decisions based on your skills experience and our overall assessment of what we observed and learnt in the hiring process. The target salary range for this position is 224k to 341k. When calculating offers we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates skills and experience.
