Job Description
AnMed Medical Center is looking for Cardiothoracic Surgeon locum coverage for 2025!
Open dates:
- TBD; sporadic coverage through 2025
- Reason for coverage: only have 1 CT physician on staff
- Practice setting: Hospital
- Patient demographic: 100% adult
- Provider in practice: 1 physician 1 midlevel
- Locum will be required to supervise other providers; there will be a PA working with the locum
- Labs & Xrays onsite
- EMR: EPIC
- General CV/thoracic surgery
- Coronary artery bypass surgery on pump
- Congenital defects (preferred)
- Valvular repair & repair (preferred)
- Aneurysm repair (cardiac & aortothoracic preferred)
- Lung resection (preferred)
- Chest wall or pleural procedures (preferred)
- Evaluation & management of acute vol/BP issues (preferred)
- Insertion of central line arterial line PA catheter IABP (preferred)
Requirement description : NO EXCEPTIONS ON THE JOB REQUIREMENTS; ONLY SUBMIT CANDIDATES THAT MEET EACH REQUIREMENT LISTED
- Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon REQUIRED
- Active SC license & DEA REQUIRED; Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
- CLEAN BACKGROUND; NO EXCEPTIONS
- Must call out availability/preferred schedule at time of name clear
