Job Description
Tasks
- Identify evaluate and establish contracts with reliable thirdparty logistics (3PL) companies.
- Negotiate transportation rates and service terms to meet the companys budget and operational needs.
- Regularly assess the performance of transportation suppliers provide improvement suggestions or replace underperforming suppliers.
- Develop and optimize transportation plans between sorting warehouses to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Handle unexpected transportation issues to ensure uninterrupted delivery operations.
- Monitor transportation performance in terms of time cost and quality to meet company standards.
- Ensure transportation operations comply with Dutch and EU regulations (e.g. vehicle safety and freight permits).
Requirements
- Familiarity with the Dutch 3PL market and existing relationships with local 3PL providers.
- Strong knowledge of market pricing and excellent negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to plan allocate resources and flexibly schedule vehicles to meet dynamic operational needs.
- Strong coordination skills for both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Language requirements: Proficiency in Chinese and English; Dutch is a plus.
- Possessing a Niwo certificate is an advantage.
