Hours: Up to 22.5 hours per week;and; alternating weekends
Salary: $28.24 $29.13 per hour (start rate in accordance with collective agreement)
Status: Permanent PartTime

Position Summary
The Team Aide is actively involved as a team member in the unit. The responsibilities include but are not strictly limited to performing supportive patient focused activities; monitoring and replenishing inventory of medical and other supplies to ensure adequate stocks in designated areas; performing transport functions including movement of patients equipment and supplies in a timely manner; cleaning/disinfecting equipment supplies procedure patient and other rooms maintaining high standards of infection and safety controls to ensure a hygienic and safe environment; quality and safety responsibilities; working in compliance of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations reporting hazards deficiencies and contraventions of the Act in a timely manner; performing crossfunctional duties as assigned and/or required; performing other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned and/or required.
The Team Aide is not involved in intimate patient care however assists the team in patient focused care and supports under the direct supervision of a regulated health professional. In addition the Team Aide performs other indirect patient related duties; such as performing general clerical duties including supporting patient flow activities (bed moves transportation etc...).
