Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Church View Dental Care in Leeds.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and wellbeing are passionate about delivering great service and looking for a career where you can learn grow and develop then this could be a perfect fit for you.
- Fulltime hours 40.75hrs week
- Rota pattern is Mon and Tues 8:156pm Weds and Thurs 7:455pm and Fri 7:453pm
- 24month fixed term contract
- Training supported by our highly experienced team your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex
- Onsite parking if available
Our Church View Dental Care has been established for 30 years moving to a purposebuilt site in 2020. We have 7 dentists and 6 hygienists together with a Restorative Consultant and Clinical Denture Technician working to support our longstanding and loyal patients. As a well regarded private dental practice we offer general dentistry implants and Invisalign across 8 surgeries all on the ground floor.
About you
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chairside assistance ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist hygienist or therapist in all procedures
