- Responsible for the engineering design development timing and production release of the power hardware components power drive units pinch sensors and power struts.
- Create DFMEAs DVPRs performance standards specifications and conduct validation tests for these components.
- Work with cross functional team members and support plant launches by ensuring components are designed and being applied as per design intent.
- Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems and provide guidance to team members.
- Check designs against design guidelines corporate requirements and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
- A Masters degree in mechanical engineering or in a related engineering field.
- Experience in mechanical engineering or a related field will be considered an asset.
- English written/spoken.
- First experience in the Automotve industry
