Job Description
As a Question Developer (Canadian financial services Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Exam) you will;
- Understand the competency profile: Appendix 15 Reference document for competency profile Chief Financial Officer at
- Perform the following (approximately 2530 days of effort from March 1 to May 30 2025):
Support the analysis of the competency profile and client requirements in the context of the Canadian Financial Services industry and provide recommendations for the exam syllabus and parameters including attending 24 syllabus and exam committee reviews. - Develop highquality exam content including:
Writing up to 8 scenarios with 40 linked questions and 50 standalone questions following industry standards and guidance provided
Reviewing other SMEs scenarios and questions and recommending revisions as needed
Revising scenarios and questions as needed based on recommendations provided
Qualifications :
- Deep Knowledge of Canadian Financial Services specifically the CFO Approved Person role including a comprehensive understanding of the regulations markets and key roles.
- Experience working in the Canadian Financial Services industry specifically in a CFO Approved Person role.
- Understanding competency and syllabus development.
- Understanding Exam Governance (structures processes requirements) including familiarity with sitting professional exams.
