Job Description
Location: 3800 W. 143rd Street Cleveland OH 44111
Type: 1 year contract on W2
Shift: Late shift weekdays MondayThursday 3:00pm1:30am (4 10hr shifts)
Hours and working days are nonnegotiable
Job Description:
- Perform analysis and tests of raw materials inprocess materials and finished products samples of manufactured/intermediate products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Conducts incoming raw materials testing ensuring conformance to required specifications.
- Records test results on batch tickets and in companys computer operating system.
- Organizes and maintains quality records and retains of production/intermediate batches and raw material champions
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of tests
- Sets up adjusts verifies and operates laboratory equipment and instruments
- Maintain housekeeping of the working place
- Respect the Safety Health Environment and Quality Policy
- Evaluates retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
- Performs 5S audits or other audits according to a plan.
- Support all Quality Control related One PPG initiatives
Required Competencies:
- Minimum of twoyear technical degree preferred (Quality Engineering or other sciences) or three or more years of related experience and/or training
- Two (2) years analytical laboratory experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
