Job Description

Available Opportunity for a IT Customer Engineer
Are you an innovative deadlinedriven IT Systems engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with design construction equipment installation system configuration maintenance and preventative maintenance plans.
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot systems.
- Identify problems write reports and offer solutions.
Requirements:
- Languages: Afrikaans & English (written & verbal).
- IT Experience: 3 years with 2 years in enterprise server environments (Windows Server VMWare/HyperV).
Knowledge:
- Desktops laptops printers Microsoft 365 Suite Windows 10 & 11 Windows Server 2012 Active Directory DNS DHCP RDS Exchange SQL Server scripting LAN/WAN VLAN routing switching ITIL processes remote monitoring systems redundancy strategies and hypervisors.
Advantageous:
- SAN storage management public services firewall management proxy servers.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- CompTIA A and N
- CCNA/CCNP
- MCITP/MCSE on Windows Server 2012
- Microsoft 365 Administration
Preferred:
- Microsoft Azure Certification vendor certifications (HPE DELL LENOVO IBM etc.)
Responsibilities by Support Level:
1st Line Support:
- Support via email phone or remote assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve issues on desktops laptops printers scanners etc.
- Troubleshoot connectivity problems and utilize Active Directory.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols.
2nd Line Support:
- Support and troubleshoot issues manage HyperV and VMware environments.
- Collaborate with customer engineers on complex issues.
- Perform server and security audits.
- Lead infrastructure and network improvement projects.
3rd Line Support:
- Oversee and maintain server and network systems.
- Design implement and manage IT infrastructure.
- Manage escalations and ensure SLA adherence.
- Visit client sites to troubleshoot and implement IT solutions.
- Continuously seek improvement opportunities and maintain documentation.
