Job Description
Location: Pleasanton CA (Remote)
Responsibilities: Remediate Windows server vulnerabilities rearchitect the DFS deploy hardened Windows 2016 servers cleanup of Active Directory and rearchitect Group Policies.
Must have Skills: Scripting Experience with Powershell Orchestrator and other scripting languages experience in managing and deploying SCOM and experience in Windows system administration.
Technical Knowledge and Skills: 7 years of system engineering/Infrastructure customer support and security experience in Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016 5 years experience in corporate infrastructure design implementation and troubleshooting extensive experience in support knowledge of Windows Linux and Unix Operating systems basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory networking and security concepts strong troubleshooting skills project Management problem solving people management and extensive knowledge in addressing and remediating Windows server vulnerabilities.
Deliverables or Tasks: Provide Senior Level Windows Server setup administration configurations and automated implementations assist in planning design implementation support Windows and Virtual infrastructure projects support VMWare Virtualization environments rearchitect the existing Microsoft DFS Group Policies DNS and DHCP infrastructure assist with server migrations provide operational support participate in capacity planning and Disaster Recovery improve architecture and standards based on ITIL best practices support development and troubleshoot complex application issues provide onsite and remote technical assistance to other team resources and to customers provide technical guidance knowledge transfer and mentorship to internal engineering peers drive requirements and technical duediligence and infrastructure design establish and enforce policies define and monitor access and accomplish information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
