Job Description
JOB TITLE: Sheetmetal Assembly Mechanic
LOCATION: Kinston NC
PAY RATE: $34/hour
MUST BE US PERSONS
We are a national staffing firm partnering with toptier aerospace companies and we are seeking firstclass employees to join our clients teams!

Job Details:

Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Compensation: Pay and standard per diem of $110/week for qualified candidates.

Shift: Primarily 2nd shift (3 PM 11:30 PM) but flexibility to work any shift is required.

Overtime: Must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Physical Requirements: Must stand and work for the full 8hour shift.
Summary:
-
The company will provide training to ensure employees can perform the following tasks:
-
Assemble and install parts using blueprints specifications and work orders to meet quality standards.
-
Complete data transactions to support assembly progression.
-
Perform manual and automated assembly operations including portable machine tasks.
-
Conduct rework fabrication testing or checks during and after assembly processes.
-
Retrieve and move parts materials tools and assemblies as needed.
-
Use precision measuring instruments for assignments.
-
Report or address issues such as part errors or tool malfunctions.
-
Perform basic machine maintenance including filter changes lubrication and light bulb replacement.
-
Move products within the manufacturing area and document necessary transactions.
-
Support workflow by training and assisting team members.
-
Document discrepancies per specifications and procedures.
-
Crosstrain in inspection and obtain SIA qualification.

Employees may be assigned additional tasks by leadership with training provided as needed.
Required Skills:

Aerospace experience required
-
MUST PASS A PLATE TEST ON DAY 1
