Job Description
As a LiveIn Carer with Home Instead you will play a crucial role in supporting clients to live independently and comfortably in their own homes. You will provide personalized care tailored to each individuals needs promoting their wellbeing dignity and quality of life. This role is ideal for compassionate patient and dedicated individuals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist with daily activities such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting ensuring that clients maintain their personal hygiene and dignity
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and support clients in following their medication schedules
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship engaging clients in conversation and activities that enrich their daily lives
- Meal Preparation: Plan prepare and serve nutritious meals that cater to the clients dietary requirements and preferences
- Household Tasks: Assist with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning laundry and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment
- Mobility Support: Aid clients with mobility including the use of mobility aids and assistance with transfers from bed to chair
- Care Planning: Work closely with healthcare professionals care managers and family members to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and monitor the clients health and wellbeing reporting any changes or concerns to the care manager or relevant healthcare professional
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies providing first aid and contacting the appropriate emergency services if necessary
Qualifications :
- Previous care experience essential
- Kind and compassionate nature
- Flexible approach
- No need to drive. All our clients are based in Central London
- Smart phone required to use our bespoke app to log daily activities and clock in to work
Additional Information :
As a Live In Carer you will be provided with an allowance from the client a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition we offer comprehensive training and support.
