Job Description

Job Position: Vulnerability Remediation Engineer.
Job Location: Remote.
Visa Requirement: Only US Citizens or Green Card holders are eligible.
Part of a team of 34 people working on vulnerability assessment and remediation.
Role involves addressing a backlog of identified vulnerability issues.
Requires strong infrastructure experience to understand and fix vulnerabilities and predict downstream changes.
Candidates must have experience with Servers and Work Stations Active Directory and Systems Configuration.
Ideal candidates will come from a Systems Engineer / Systems Administration background with a focus on Security and Patching.
The role involves working closely with Information Assurance Technical Operations and Infrastructure teams.
Requires the ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills.
Experience in project work and interacting with a wide range of stakeholders is preferred.
The current Vulnerability Platform is Tenable but they are moving to Tenable Cloud (Tenable 1 VM).
Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) is highly preferred.
Even if the candidate only has experience with ServiceNow or with other similar tools they can still be considered if they can quickly adapt to the companys tools.
The company is willing to provide some training but is not willing to switch to a different tool.
