Job Description
Required skills include being a registered nurse having case management experience and Midas/InterQual use
Preferred skills include knowledge of area resources and NATE
Typical procedures include interviewing patients/families facetoface conducting MDRs on each unit daily and InterQual reviews on every patient
Ideal candidate is someone who gets along with anyone not shy or timid
Job may require floating to the entire hospital including W&CH and ED
Dress code is Caribbean blue scrubs/white jacket
Must follow hospital guidelines/policies
Job may require rotating weekends (Sat & Sun 84:30)
No oncall required.
Job duration is for 13 weeks
Start date is as soon as possible
Job involves data collection
Unit has a typical census of 180230 including W&CH
There are currently six case managers
One case manager works weekends from 7 am 7 pm
Four to five case managers work Monday through Friday 8 am 4:30 pm
Patient ratio is 1:40 from Monday to Friday
Equipment used includes laptops and cell phones
EMR used is MediTech; Midas
