Role: DataStage ETL Architect
Location: McLean VA (3 Days Onsite per Week)
Mode of Employment: FullTime
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced DataStage ETL Architect to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key data architecture projects with handson work in ETL design solutioning and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Over 10 years of overall experience in ETL architecture solutioning design and implementations using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Strong handson experience in ETL design and frameworks using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Handson expertise in Data Lineage tools to track and manage data flow effectively.
- Experience in migrating and upgrading IBM InfoSphere DataStage from OnPremise to Cloud Pak for DataStage.
- Excellent understanding of ETL best practices and IBM InfoSphere DataStage standards.
- Expertise in ETL performance optimization techniques specific to IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Proven experience with ETL implementations across multiple versions of IBM InfoSphere DataStage particularly v11.x.
- At least two endtoend DataStage version upgrade/migration projects specifically from v8.x to v11.x.
- Strong proficiency in SQL including querying and optimizing databases.
- Handson experience with UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting to automate and streamline processes.
- Knowledge and experience in Java for additional integration or customization needs.
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders providing effective solutions and resolving issues in a collaborative manner.
