At Palo Alto Networks we are at the forefront of securing the evolving AI landscape. We are seeking a passionate and experienced RVP of AI GTM to lead the gotomarket strategy and execution for our rapidly growing AI security solutions. This critical role will be instrumental in accelerating the adoption of our solutions that help customers secure the creation and usage of AI applications including homegrown AI and popular generative AI tools.

Your Impact

  • Define and execute the gotomarket strategy for AI security solutions focusing on accelerating customer adoption of our solutions for securing the creation and usage of AI applications.

  • Build and lead a highperforming team of technical architects to drive pipeline generation customer engagements and market penetration.

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify qualify and convert a robust pipeline of potential customers for AI security solutions.

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify key market segments and opportunities.

  • Lead customerfacing activities including presentations demonstrations and proofofvalue (POVs).

  • Engage in technical conversations with customers regarding AI security challenges and solutions including topics such as securing RAG models prompts vector databases etc

  • Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders including Clevel executives security and IT leaders.

  • Collaborate closely with sales marketing product management and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective gotomarket execution.

  • Evangelize the importance of AI security within the organization and externally to customers and industry influencers.

  • Recruit hire and mentor a team of highly skilled technical architects.

  • Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and high performance within the team.


Qualifications :

Your Experience 

  • 10 years of experience in AI and related fields with a strong focus on technical sales strategy and execution.

  • Proven track record of success in building and leading highperforming technical sales or solution architect teams.

  • Deep understanding of AI technologies including machine learning deep learning and generative AI.

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

  • Ideally experience with security solutions and cybersecurity market including data security network security and security applied to generative AI.

  • Experience with popular generative AI tools and their security implications preferred

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for nonsales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $245000 $336000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
