Job Description
Role: Electronic Data Interchange EDI
Experience: 5 to 10 Years
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid
Client: Infosys
Essential Functions
Perform in a collaborative integrated project team environment
Communicate projects progress issues and general information via written and verbal means
Provide EDI production support by monitoring and ensuring successful processing of inbound and outbound transactions and SAP IDocs
Monitor EDI communications with trading partners to ensure no interruptions
Take corrective action to resolve issues with trading partners and client team members
Identify troubleshoot and track EDI related issues and requests in clients tracking system to resolution
Respond to production support emails and voice mails in a timely manner
Work with VAN and mapping services provider to resolve data and communication issues
Run EDI health checks daily and in support of system updates server patching and changes that could impact EDI
Critical Requirements
Very good English communication (verbal and written) and interaction skills
Well organized multitasker with close attention to detail
Production support analytical troubleshooting and basic project management skills
Able to work independently or in a team environment and to interact with all levels
Action oriented proactive and able to independently follow up with customers trading partners and VAN to troubleshoot issues and find resolutions
Experience in a multivendor environment
Experience with EDI data mapping and translation
Understanding of EDI formats (X12 EDIFACT Odette VDA) SAP IDocs and SAP ECC
Experience with map development and implementing EDI transactions/messages likeINVOIC APERAK DELFOR DELINS 4905 DESADV AVIEXP 4913 DELJIT TXTRAW DELJIT SYNCRO INVRPT ORDERS and ORDRSP
SAP knowledge and experience with SAP IDoc structures monitoring transactions IDoc reprocessing partner profiles customer master Sales & Distribution module sales orders Sales scheduling agreements and custom applications
Experience using SAP transactions like BD87 ME33 SE12 SM30 SM37 SMQ1 VA03 VA05 VA33 VL03N VT03N WE02 WE09 WE19 WE20 WE21 WE60 WEOUTQUEUE and ZASET
Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook Word and Excel
Required Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
5 years of work experience with a bachelors degree
At least 5 years of experience in Electronic Data Interchange Role
At least 1 year of experience in SAP IDoc Role
