Job Description
Job is to keep people and property safe by preventing unauthorized access theft and other security threats.
Responsibilities
Patrol: Regularly walk around the premises to check for security threats
Monitor: Watch surveillance cameras and access points
Enforce rules: Make sure people follow the rules and regulations
Respond to emergencies: Act as a first responder when theres an emergency
Investigate: Look into security breaches incidents and other suspicious behavior
Report: Document observations information and occurrences in reports
Control traffic: Direct drivers
Guard valuables: Keep valuables in a secure area
Qualities: Honesty Reliability Clear communication Quick thinking and Leadership.
Requirements
Security guards need a variety of skills including physical fitness communication problemsolving and technical proficiency.They also need to be able to work well under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations.
