Job Description
Formation Environmental LLC (Formation) is currently seeking a motivated civil or environmental engineer to join our team in Boise ID or Boulder CO. Projects will require travel to sites with field investigations varying in scope and duration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude in handling multiple project assignments while maintaining flexibility to meet deadlines showcasing exceptional organization and written/verbal communication skills and upholding a steadfast commitment to scientific integrity quality and adherence to established quality assurance quality control and health and safety protocols. Successful candidates will be part of multidisciplinary teams comprised of various experience levels.
Skills :
- Assisting in the planning and implementing of a variety of studies and remedies requiring grading analysis and earthworks design
- Hydrologic hydraulic and water balance analysis/modeling
- Stormwater conveyance and retention/detention basin design
- Erosion and sediment control design
- Preparation of engineering evaluations and alternative analyses
- Ability to both generate and direct design drawings for designs
- Preparation of engineers cost estimates
- Ability to read and understand schematics diagrams site plans and aerial maps
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil3D
- Although not required experience with geotechnical analysis and design is highly desirable
