Location:
Remote (CST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 1800 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday Friday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (CST)

About the Company:

A growing dental practice that requires dedicated IT support to manage daily technical issues assist with thirdparty vendor coordination and support cloudhosted software.

Position Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for a range of issues including software printers cloud applications and thirdparty vendor support. The ideal candidate will have a strong problemsolving mindset excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently with team members in a remote setting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing handson technical support managing support tickets and working closely with IT teams to learn and maintain software and system configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide daily technical support for a variety of issues including hardware software network connectivity and printers.
  • Work with thirdparty vendors to resolve softwarespecific issues and support ticket escalations.
  • Assist in setting up and managing cloudhosted software applications.

IT Systems & Infrastructure:

  • Collaborate with the IT team to learn and maintain the companys software and system configurations.
  • Ensure all IT requests are documented tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Conduct basic system diagnostics and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Communication & Team Collaboration:

  • Effectively communicate with team members to understand and resolve technical issues.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and IT procedures for future reference.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the status of IT support tickets and recurring technical issues.


Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience in IT support helpdesk or technical troubleshooting roles.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to nontechnical users.
  • Proficiency in managing support tickets and working with thirdparty vendors.
  • Proficiency with cloudhosted management software.
  • Must be able to work CST hours and ensure efficient communication with team members.


NicetoHaves:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with Hamachi VPN and Imaging Software (XDR Sota).
  • Experience working with Practice Management Software (Open Dental).
  • Prior experience supporting cloudhosted software applications.
