Job Description
**Overview:*
Senior Solution Engineer ( SSE ) focuses on retail management Work in Process ( WIP ) Optica. This role involves collaborating with solution integrators to design and implement architecture tailored to customers needs. The SSE will possess a strong understanding of software systems and hardware enabling them to provide comprehensive advice to clients. Additionally the SSE requires leading projects managing software and hardware implementations and supporting sales efforts to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with solution integrators to design and develop technical architectures based on customer requirements.
Advise customers on software system and hardware solutions that best meet their business needs.
Lead project management efforts for software and hardware implementations ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during the sales process helping to close deals and meet customer expectations.
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
Oversee the execution of pilot programs and gather feedback to refine solutions before fullscale deployment.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in solution design and implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Extensive experience in retail management solutions and familiarity with relevant software and hardware technologies.
Proven track record in project management particularly in software and hardware implementations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience working with crossfunctional teams to ensure solution compatibility and success.
Proficiency in programming languages and methodologies relevant to the companys tech stack.
Skills:
Technical design and architecture development.
Project management expertise particularly in Agile methodologies.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Client relations and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
