Job Description
Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Ewing NJ (onsite MonFri 7 am3:30 pm)
Essential Skills:
- Strong mechanical skills particularly in assembly
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Experience in an industrial setting
- Some electrical knowledge is a plus with a primary focus on mechanical background
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components or products for final sale ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform tensioning and torquerelated services on mechanical assemblies using calibrated tools and documenting results.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accurate assembly
- Conduct diagnostic tests on assembled products to ensure efficiency and make necessary adjustments.
- Follow technical instructions interpret engineering blueprints and discern the quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Read and interpret mechanical component lists sketches and blueprints to assemble tools and equipment ensuring compliance with clients precise manufacturing standards.
Experience:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with machining processes and techniques
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Knowledge of soldering and welding techniques
Experience using power tools and hand tools
