Job Description
Controller
- Bachelor's degree on Finance or Accounting.
- Fiveyear experience as minimum.
- English spoken and written.
- Us Ledger proficiency or/and Mexican.
- Ensure accurate valuation of inventory and reconcile accounts monthly.
- Raw Material WIP and Finished Good physical inventories will be taken according to company policy and the process will be led by the plant controller.
- Plant controller will prepare cycle count schedules for the warehouse.
- Analyze fixed/variable varlances monthly and report to plant management.
- Provide varlance explanations to plant management each month.
- Develop annual fixed budgets.
- Complete month end closing tasks as scheduled.
- Monitor capital spending.
- Authorize/Approve plant purchases expense reports and special expenditute requests (SER).
- Allocate maquiladora service expenses each month.
- Meet SOX reporting requirements.
- Take an active plant leadership role in the areas of cost reduction and financial control.
- Participate In the plant safety program.
- VAT recovery experience.
- Cost Analysis.
- Strong customs regulation and procedures knowledge.
