Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in offshore structures to work on the engineering phase of offshore oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing and analyzing jackets topsides decks subsea structures and other offshore facilities in compliance with international and Saudi Aramco standards. The ideal candidate should have expertise in structural analysis load calculations fatigue assessments and offshore construction methodologies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform structural analysis and design of offshore platforms jackets topsides and subsea structures.
- Conduct static dynamic fatigue and seismic analysis of offshore structures.
- Develop loadout lifting transportation and installation studies for offshore structures.
- Ensure designs comply with API RP 2A AISC DNV ABS ISO and Saudi Aramco standards.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Perform inplace analysis environmental loading analysis (wave wind and current effects) and stability analysis.
- Generate technical reports specifications and design documentation for engineering reviews.
- Work closely with structural designers and CAD teams to develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings.
- Ensure clashfree integration of structural designs with piping mechanical and electrical systems.
- Review and validate Tekla Aveva E3D PDMS AutoCAD and SACS models for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide engineering support during fabrication installation and commissioning of offshore structures.
- Conduct technical reviews site visits and inspections for offshore fabrication yards.
- Resolve design and constructionrelated issues in coordination with the site team.
- Ensure structural integrity safety and durability of offshore structures.
- Implement Aramco and international safety and quality standards in all engineering deliverables.
- Work with certifying authorities (DNV ABS Lloyds Register) for classification approvals.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 8 years in offshore structural engineering for oil & gas projects.
- SACS STAAD.Pro ANSYS Tekla Aveva E3D PDMS AutoCAD SESAM FEMAP Mathcad.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word) for reporting and documentation.
- Experience with API RP 2A AISC DNV ABS ISO and Saudi Aramco standards.
- Understanding of offshore fabrication transportation and installation methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills problemsolving abilities and teamwork.
