Your role as an Administrative School Nurse (RN) will support the overall wellbeing of students and the school community.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to students including first aid medication administration and chronic health condition management.
- Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
- Serve as a resource for healthrelated issues and emergencies.
- Collaborate with school staff parents and healthcare providers to ensure students health needs are met.
- Enhance the educational process by addressing healthrelated barriers to learning and promoting wellness.
What You Can Expect
- Day Shift Only: No weekends or oncall required.
- Work in a school setting with opportunities to make a direct impact on childrens lives.
- Paid training CEU opportunities and access to online learning modules.
Qualifications :
- Active RN License in good standing (required).
- Previous pediatric school health or public health experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Six (6) months of recent experience in a clinical or school health setting preferred.
