Job Description
Location: Manama Bahrain
Job Type: FullTime
Contract Duration: Minimum 2 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking Application Support Engineers/Developers to maintain and support biometric applications ensuring optimal system performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support applications for biometric systems (e.g. fingerprint face iris).
- Ensure compliance with biometric standards like ISO/IEC 19794 and NIST.
- Implement and troubleshoot APIs middleware and integrations (e.g. JBoss Tomcat).
- Ensure secure communication protocols and manage certificate systems.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in application support and development preferably with biometric systems.
- Strong understanding of biometric systems (e.g. fingerprint face iris recognition) and related standards (ISO/IEC 19794 NIST).
- Proven experience in Java or .NET development and middleware technologies.
- Indepth knowledge of web services (IIS Apache) and API integrations.
- Experience working with APIs middleware and integration frameworks such as JBoss and Tomcat.
- Familiarity with secure communication protocols (e.g. HTTPS SSH) and managing certificate systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills to ensure the optimal performance of applications.
- Ability to work in a teamoriented environment with a focus on collaboration and results.
- Certifications in Java .NET or biometric technologies would be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with PKI and securityrelated concepts in application development.
