Job Description

We are looking for a Production Engineer to improve manufacturing processes and ensure the efficient production of highquality components. The role focuses on process optimization safety and supporting engineering teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Develop safety protocols and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to reduce costs and cycle times.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address defects and maintain high standards.
  • Prepare production reports and analyze performance data.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in production engineering preferably in manufacturing or rail industries.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing and process improvement tools.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with health safety and environmental regulations.


Additional Information :

Technical Skills:

  1. Process Optimization: Ability to identify inefficiencies in production processes and implement solutions to improve them.
  2. Lean Manufacturing: Expertise in lean principles and tools (e.g. Kaizen 5S Six Sigma) to drive continuous improvement.
  3. Quality Control and Assurance: Knowledge of quality assurance techniques to maintain product standards and minimize defects.
  4. Production Planning: Understanding of production schedules resource allocation and capacity planning to meet deadlines.
  5. CAD Software: Familiarity with computeraided design (CAD) tools for designing or improving production systems.
  6. Safety Protocols: Knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Analytical Skills:

  1. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze production data to identify trends issues and areas for improvement.
  2. Root Cause Analysis: Proficient in techniques such as fishbone diagrams or failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) to troubleshoot issues.
  3. ProblemSolving: Strong ability to find practical solutions for complex production challenges.

Communication and Collaboration:

  1. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams including engineers quality assurance and production staff.
  2. Reporting Skills: Proficiency in preparing and presenting production reports highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggesting improvements.
  3. Training and Mentoring: Ability to guide and train staff on new processes equipment and safety measures.

Project Management:

  1. Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  2. Cost Management: Understanding of cost reduction strategies and the ability to implement them within a production environment.
