Trust &Estate Attorney

For over 70 years they have kept pace with Californias growth and with more than 100 attorneys they have the resources and experience to offer the highest quality representation in a wide variety of legal matters.We are seeking a motivated and experienced Attorney with a Probate Trust &Estatebackgroundto join our growing team.



IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Will have a strong background in handling complex estate and trust litigation matters including will contests trust disputes and fiduciary litigation.
  • Experience in representing highnetworth individuals and families addressing complex estate planning and tax issues charitable giving philanthropic planning and family limited partnerships and LLCs.


DUTIES:

  • Represent clients in complex probate and trust litigation matters including will contests trust disputes and fiduciary litigation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Draft and file pleadings motions and other legal documents.
  • Conduct depositions and other discovery proceedings.
  • Prepare for and participate in trials hearings and mediations.
  • Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Provide timely and effective communication with clients.
  • Advise clients on legal issues and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to achieve case objectives.
  • Mentor and train junior attorneys.
  • Contribute to the firms overall strategic goals.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing withthe CA state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in probate trust and estate litigation.
  • Strong understanding of probate and trust law fiduciary duties and estate administration.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Proven litigation skills with a track record of managing complex cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client service.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base Salary Range: $160000 $230000
  • Plus performancebased incentives include percentages for origination collections profit sharing and realization rates. We can delve into more details to find mutually beneficial terms.
