Job Description
Are you experienced in jewelry polishing plating or working with metals and ready for a new career opportunity We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator Polisher to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for polishing and finishing materials to meet exact specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate polishing machines to ensure products meet precise quality and finish specifications.
- Perform manual polishing and buffing on various materials including metals to achieve desired finishes.
- Inspect materials for defects and inconsistencies before and after polishing.
- Set up and maintain polishing machinery for optimal performance.
- Handle materials carefully to avoid scratches damage or other defects during the polishing process.
- Adhere to customer specifications and company quality standards for all polished products.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Record production data accurately and maintain detailed logs of finished goods.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation following safety guidelines and 5S principles.
- Follow detailed work instructions and guidelines to ensure consistent results.
- Continuously suggest improvements to enhance productivity quality and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in jewelry polishing plating or working with metals is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent highquality finishes.
- Proficiency in operating polishing machines and other finishing tools.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications blueprints or work instructions.
- Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment adjustments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and teamoriented mindset.
- Ability to lift up to Insert Weight Limit and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
