Rumzer is seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Product Testing or Quality Engineer to join our growing team. This critical role will be responsible for managing the compliance of our customers consumer goods products with the EU Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) regulations. About Rumzer: Our mission is to help manufacturers to easily and cost effectively comply with global regulations such as EU RoHS REACH California Prop 65 PFAS CE marking (Electromagnetic Compatibility Low Voltage Directive) and other global regulations. We do this using the best software technology and talented professionals.
Core Responsibilities
* Compliance Management: Oversee all aspects of LVD (Low Voltage Directive) and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) compliance for new and existing consumer goods products.
* Test Planning & Coordination: Develop test plans coordinate testing activities with our customers internal testing teams and 3rd party test laboratories and ensure tests are conducted according to relevant standards.
* Timeline Management: Proactively manage test schedules to ensure timely completion and meet product launch deadlines.
* Test Result Evaluation: Analyze test results identify potential compliance issues and recommend solutions. Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation.
* Collaboration: Work closely with product managers design engineers and other stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
* CE Marking: Ensure proper CE marking and documentation for compliant products.
* Standards Monitoring: Stay uptodate on changes to LVD EMC and other relevant regulations and standards.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all testing activities results and compliance documentation.
Requirements
* An undergraduate degree in industrial quality mechanical electrical or other relevant engineering discipline.
* Proven experience in product testing and compliance specifically with LVD and EMC regulations for consumer goods.
* Familiarity with relevant harmonized standards.
* Experience working with and managing 3rd party test laboratories.
* Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Detailoriented and highly organized.
* Though not required some experience with material compliance standards such as EU RoHS REACH and Prop 65 is "extra credit"

Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
