RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care
We are hiring an Oncology Liaison Nurse for our Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Organise multidisciplinary meetings on a fortnightly or more often basis if needed.
- Attend every multidisciplinary meeting.
- Develop positive working relationships with all members of the oncology team.
- Maintain accurate clinical records (using the Meditech system) in accordance with applicable regulations and best practices.
- He or she will make certain that all cancer patients referred to the service are seen by an Oncology Liaison Nurse.
- Showcase specialist knowledge and clinical skills in the provision of patient care.
- Be knowledgeable of all hospital policies and procedures and work with other healthcare professionals to ensure they are followed.
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of policies and collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure that they are followed.
Requirements
- Nursing & Midwife Board Registered General Nurse (NMBI) Registration.
- H.Dip in Oncology Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years post registration experience.
- With 3 years experience in the area of medical oncology.
- Management Development.
- Masters in Oncology Nursing.
