Job Description
- Create and integrate highquality rigs for various game assets (characters creatures environment etc.) in Maya and 3ds Max for game engine compatibility.
- Act as a bridge among Animators and various game teams to develop engaging gameplay animation system best practices and ontime delivery.
- Debug issues and advocate for best animation practices.
- Design maintain and troubleshoot animation tools and adapt animation pipelines considering projects technical constraint.
- Inspire coach animators and provide technical assistance when needed while ensuring the accuracy of task status reporting.
Qualifications :
- 45 years of experience in the gaming industry with a background in animation or related field.
- Proficient in Maya 3ds Max Unity and Unreal with programming skills in Python and C#; familiarity with Maxscript and MEL.
- Proficiency in rigging skinning with ability to do complex rigs (bone based & blendshapes) animation and integration workflows.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy proportion perspective composition color shading lighting and postprocessing.
- Advanced knowledge of character motion physicsbased motion and the fundamental principles of animation
- Excellent problemsolving and English communication skills for artistic and technical challenges.
- Demonstrates strong mindset commitment flexibility selfdiscipline teamwork and a passion for video games.
